These two poles of thinking and creativity represent the continuous human engagement with Art (Techne) and Artisanry (techniki). The vision of the originator of the project presents for us an opportunity to explore a vision where the House becomes a Workshop and the Workshop becomes a House. The House has a history and its history is engraved in the details, the carefully curated axial lines that transform this vernacular Mediterranean beach house into an important piece of Architecture. We are grateful for the opportunity that was given to us by the client, through the support and kind influence. The client requested a design for a project with the brief to accommodate a showroom on the ground floor, highly visible from the street.
